Join Our Team For The 2026 Show

The Brisbane Rotary Art Show 2026 is offering a hands-on volunteer position for a person interested in gaining experience in arts administration and artist engagement. You will work closely with the Rotary committee and the Curator and coordinator, supporting key aspects of the exhibition including artist correspondence and digital management. This is a valuable opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes insight into the delivery of a large-scale public art event.

 

Training will begin in February 2026, with responsibilities gradually increasing through to July 2026. The busiest period will be from May to July 2026, leading up to and during the exhibition. 

 

EOIs close upon successful application. 

 

• Internship: February–July 2026 

• Expected hours will vary, approximately 3-16 hours per week

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Mailchimp and social media

• Own laptop/computer (program access will be provided)

• Background in visual art is desirable 

 

• Assist the curator and coordinator with arts administration (e.g. data exporting, website updates)

• Respond to artist enquiries regarding artworks and entry requirements 

• Post to social media (content provided by the marketing team) 

• Assist with the installation of the 2026 exhibition
